ConSol* was founded in Munich, Germany in June 1984 by Ulrich Schwanengel as a one-person operation. The company’s mission was to provide solutions for complex IT problems in accordance with the motto "quality through competency."
1984 - 1991
ConSol* employed approximately 15 independent contractors to carry out projects for such companies as AT&T, Dresdner Bank, Frauenhofer-Gesellschaft, IBM, Münchner Rückversicherung, Nixdorf, Porsche, Prentice Hall, Siemens and Unix Systems Laboratories. The ConSol* team included prominent American Unix and network experts who did one year work stints with us here in Germany. We hired our first employee on October 1, 1989, and we were incorporated in 1991.
