Virtualization: a standardization solution for Web-and application servers

ConSol* developed a Web- and application server standardization solution for a German automaker in order to enable the company to optimally leverage its hardware resources and streamline its administration processes for an infrastructure that services 10,000 instances.

Thanks to the standards ConSol* implemented in the company’s production environment, the company was able to cut back its hardware fleet, thus reducing infrastructure and energy costs, while at the same time substantially ramping up system efficiency. The company now runs up to 80 applications on one server.
