 ConSol*CM manages all steps in the City of Regensburg’s purchasing and applications systems. Instead of adding to the paper warfare, employees create and store internal orders and applications electronically. Superfluous actions are eliminated because responsibilities are assigned and orders are automatically forwarded to the appropriate departments. Requests follow a fixed route through the agency, greatly shortening approval and acquisition times.
Heidi Kick, of Regensburg's PR department, says,
"It is highly noteworthy that employees really like working with ConSol*CM and do not perceive it as an added administrational burden. There are even employees who are jealous because they cannot use the system yet. A virtual city hall providing e-government services for citizens is planned for the future, based on ConSol*CM."
