DevoxxUS 2017 in retrospect

End of May the Devoxx conference series made its first appearance in the United States of America. The conference took place in the Californian city of San Jose close to San Francisco. Appreciating the slogan "From Developers for Developers" software developers from all over the world were invited to exchange information on the latest software development trends and technologies.

Prior to the conference the official number of presentation proposals on the Call for Papers has been record-breaking: 785 contributions were submitted in total. One of the lucky accepted proposals was the paper from Christoph Deppisch, Consultant and Software Architect at ConSol Software GmbH, on the topic "Behavior-driven integration with Cucumber and Citrus" as part of the "Tools-in-Action" sessions at DevoxxUS.

Personal highlights & impressions

  • The conference and the opportunity to meet the developer community in the United States has been a personal highlight for Christoph. He is very proud to be part of the first Devoxx appearance in the US. Obviously other people did also enjoy the conference and especially Christophs presentation. (Tweet von Phil Webb):
